by Gale Products Division, Outboard Marine Corp. (OMC)
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. sold these outboard motors under the brand name of Sea Bee from 1946 - 1960.

In 1898 Frank Seiberling and his brother Charles founded the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company naming it in honor of Charles Goodyear, an American inventor who discovered the rubber vulcanization process in 1839.
Sea Bee outboard models may have different paint, decals, or motor hoods from equivalent Gale models, though most parts catalogs and service information will still apply to the Goodyear Sea Bee outboard motors.
Many of the Gale and OMC parts are also interchangeable with Goodyear Sea Bee outboards, as well as other outboards manufactured by Gale, including: Hiawatha, Brooklure, Royal, Sea King, Western Flyer, Sea Flyer, Saber, Buccaneer etc.
