About: Sears Waterwitch Outboards
In 1933 the Sears outboard motor brand became Waterwitch with these outboards being supplied by Muncie Gear Works Co. However, the agreement with Muncie expired in 1936. Sears then negotiated an agreement with Kissel Automobile Co. to supply their new line of Waterwitch outboard motors. These simple no-frills outboards were offered for about 30% less than similar models from other popular brands. Sears Waterwitch outboard motor venture proved to be a profitable business with very successful sales. One of the most exotic Waterwitch outboards is the (Mae West) "twin pod" fuel tank motor seen here.
