History of Honda Aquatrax Personal Watercraft Models
In 2002 the Japanese brand "Honda" entered into the PWC market with the introduction of their ARX Aquatrax F-12 and turbocharged Aquatrax F-12X personal watercraft models. These models quickly became popular as the world’s first personal watercrafts with four-stroke turbocharged engines that helped make them reliability and durable while providing high performance at the same time.
Honda would compete with several other brands including Kawasaki, Polaris, Sea-Doo, and Yamaha. However, after almost a decade, a mixture of declining sales and a shrinking market eventually led to Honda ending their PWC line in 2009, concluding their venture into the PWC market that lasted from 2002 through 2009.

2002-2009 Honda PWC Designations
- N2 and T2 for "2"-riders R-Designation
- N2 = No Turbo R-12
- T2 = Turbocharged R-12X
- N3 and T3 for "3"-riders F-Designation
- N3 = No Turbo F-15
- T3 = Turbocharged F-15X
- D = GPS, i.e. T3D = Turbocharged and GPS
- X - i.e. T3DX = Turbo + GPS + "X" (Stern Towing Eyelets/Steps/Handles)
- GPSCAPE = Model has GPS
